PLANT!T Aeros IV Master (DWC system)
PLANT!T Aeros 4-pot system (Plantit)
PLANT!T Aeros IV Master – Deep Water Culture (DWC) system
The PLANT!T Aeros IV Master is a Deep Water Culture (DWC) system, also known as a bubbler system. This proven hydroponic system works with a highly oxygenated nutrient solution and requires only a small amount of substrate. It is particularly suitable for short-cycle and seasonal crops, and for anyone wanting a high-performance, space-saving hydroponic system.
Benefits
- Very low substrate requirement compared with classic growing systems
- No irrigation capillaries to clog
- Very quiet operation
- Space-saving design thanks to the integrated nutrient reservoir
- Functional, user-friendly design
- Easy pH and EC checks via the inspection opening
- Flexible use, as each system can operate independently
- High oxygen content of the nutrient solution for fast plant growth
How it works
The plants are held in net pots filled with a suitable substrate such as expanded clay. The roots sit directly in the nutrient solution, which is continuously enriched with oxygen by an integrated air pump and a submersible air stone. The air bubbles keep the solution constantly moving and ensure an even supply of oxygen to the roots. This promotes vigorous, healthy growth.
For best results, pH and EC values should be checked regularly. Measuring is easy: simply remove the cover of the inspection opening and take the reading.
Technical details
- System type: Deep Water Culture (DWC)
- Version: 4-pot system
- Usable area: 1 x 1 m
- Maximum system volume: 75 litres
- System working volume: approx. 60 litres
- Maximum pot volume: 15 litres
- Pot working volume: approx. 12 litres
- Oxygenation via air stone and air pump
