Light-Mix or All-Mix
| Feature | Light-Mix | All-Mix |
|---|
| Fertilisation | Light | Pre-fertilised, richer |
| Start feeding | Early, following the BioBizz chart | Later |
| Seedlings and cuttings | Suitable | Can be too rich for very young plants |
| Control over feeding | Full: you decide | Less work in the first weeks |
| Peat-free | Light-Mix Peat Free | All-Mix Peat Free 20 L |
Rule of thumb: if you want to steer every stage with nutrients yourself, choose Light-Mix; if you prefer to feed less at the start, All-Mix. Either way, keep the water at pH 6.0–7.0 and EC at 0.8–1.6 mS/cm in the vegetative stage and 1.2–2.0 in flowering.
Peat-free, Coco-Mix and Worm-Humus
- Peat Free: the peat-free versions of Light-Mix and All-Mix are for growers who want to avoid peat. They hold water differently from classic soil: in the first days, check the weight of the pot before watering.
- Coco-Mix 50 L: BioBizz coco, at pH 5.5–6.5, fed at almost every watering and never allowed to dry out.
- Worm-Humus 40 L: worm castings to mix into the soil or spread on the surface to enrich it with organic matter.
BioBizz: soil and nutrients
BioBizz soils pair with BioBizz nutrients such as Bio-Grow, Bio-Bloom and Root-Juice. Week-by-week doses are explained in the guide to the BioBizz feed chart; a comparison with Plagron and Canna is on the grow media page.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Light-Mix and All-Mix?
Light-Mix is lightly fertilised and needs feeding early; All-Mix is pre-fertilised and needs little or no feed in the first weeks. For very young seedlings and cuttings, growers usually start with Light-Mix.
When should you start feeding Light-Mix?
Not from day one: the light reserve only lasts a short time, then you start following the BioBizz chart. If the lower leaves turn paler, it is time to feed.
What is Worm-Humus used for?
It is worm castings: it enriches the soil with organic matter and improves its structure. Mix it into the medium before potting or spread it on the surface.
Is BioBizz soil organic?
BioBizz makes soils from ingredients of organic origin; for the certification of each product, the manufacturer's label is what counts.
