The Canna system: substrate and nutrients
Canna builds each nutrient line around a substrate: Coco A+B for coco, Terra Vega in the vegetative stage and Terra Flores in flowering for soil. Alongside these are products used with both, such as Rhizotonic, Cannazym and PK 13/14. Doses follow the Canna feed chart; as a reference, EC is 0.8–1.6 mS/cm in the vegetative stage and 1.2–2.0 in flowering.
Bag or pallet
A 50 L bag fills about 4 pots of 11 L or 2 of 18 L. A pallet of 60 bags, or 3,000 L, makes sense for large grow rooms or several cycles, if you have a dry place to store it. A comparison with other brands and grow media is on the grow media page.

Useful guides
Frequently asked questions
Do you need to rinse Canna Coco before use?
Canna describes it as buffered, ready-to-use coco, so rinsing is not needed. Before planting, moisten it with water or a light solution at pH 5.5–6.5.
Which nutrients go with Canna Coco?
Nutrients formulated for coco, such as Canna Coco A+B. Soil nutrients are not designed for this substrate.
Is Canna Terra Professional Plus pre-fertilised?
It contains a light base fertilisation for the start; after that you feed with Canna Terra Vega and Terra Flores following the Canna chart.
Can you reuse Canna coco?
Yes, if you remove the roots and rinse the substrate before the next cycle, but its structure declines and the risk of disease rises. For consistent results many growers use fresh coco every cycle.
