All-Mix Peat Free is an innovative and sustainable alternative to peat-based growing substrates that takes much of the work off your hands and creates an optimal environment for lush plant growth all year round.
This heavily pre-fertilised substrate mix emulates rich open-field soil with a complete micro-active ecosystem. It is designed to contain enough nutrients to ensure lush growth for several weeks without the need to add extra fertiliser.
Peat-free composition
This substrate contains only natural organic elements and no mineral salts such as magnesium or sulphates, which may be present in synthetic fertilisers.
This completely peat-free substrate is made from alternative organic materials, including composted bark, coco fibre, perlite, miscanthus and other renewable resources.
How to use it
When using All-Mix Peat Free for the first time, moisten it with water and leave it to rest for 36 hours. This gives the nutrients and micro-organisms in the substrate the chance to become active before the plants are planted.
It is important to always keep the soil slightly warm to maintain adequate microbial activity and get the most out of the nutrient-rich substrate.
