G.A.S. AirOzone 200 mm ozone generator
Ozone generator 1200 m³/h, diameter 200 mm
G.A.S. AirOzone 200 mm ozone generator
The G.A.S. AirOzone 200 mm ozone generator has been developed specifically for use in grow rooms, cellars, plant rooms and extraction systems. It is designed to neutralise odours effectively, reduce mould spores and combat germs and pests in the exhaust air flow.
The unit is integrated into the extraction system and treats the air before it leaves the room or ventilation system. Combined with a carbon filter, it provides an additional level of security in odour control, particularly with very pungent plants or high airflows.
How it works
The AirOzone produces ozone (O₃) by means of special ozone plates. Ozone is a highly reactive form of oxygen that oxidises organic odour molecules and breaks them down chemically. Instead of simply masking odours, it neutralises them permanently.
Ozone also has antibacterial, fungicidal and virucidal properties. It can:
- Destroy odour molecules
- Reduce mould spores and bacteria
- Neutralise airborne germs
- Combat certain pests in the air flow
Areas of use
- Grow rooms and grow tents (extraction system)
- Cellars and storerooms
- Plant rooms and extraction ducts
- Rooms with heavy odour loads
- Extra security in combination with carbon filters
The ozone generator must only be used in the extraction system or in unoccupied rooms and must not be operated directly in the presence of people or animals.
Safety and health warning
Ozone is harmful to the health of people and animals. Even low concentrations can cause respiratory irritation, headaches and eye irritation.
- Do not use in occupied living spaces
- Do not use in the presence of people or animals
- Use only in closed systems or empty rooms
- Ventilate adequately after use
Mounting options: the G.A.S. AirOzone 200 mm can be used flexibly and is not intended exclusively for installation in the extraction system. Installation in the extraction system downstream of a carbon filter (AKF) as additional protection against odours; installation in the extraction system without a carbon filter; free-standing use in unoccupied rooms for room disinfection and odour neutralisation. When installed in the extraction system, the ozonised air is treated directly in the air flow before it leaves the room. This ensures particularly effective breakdown of odour molecules. In free-standing operation, the ozone generator can be used for the temporary treatment of heavily contaminated areas such as cellars, storerooms or empty grow rooms. Important: in free-standing operation, no people or animals may be in the room while ozone is being produced.
Neutralising the ozone after use
After use, ozone breaks down by itself into normal oxygen (O₂). To remove the ozone from the room more quickly, the following measures are recommended:
- Intensive ventilation with fresh air
- Carbon filter in recirculation mode
- Wait at least 30-60 minutes before re-entering
- Use of extraction fans for rapid air exchange
Only re-enter the room when you can no longer smell any ozone.
Advantages
- Effective odour neutralisation through oxidation
- Reduces mould spores, germs and bacteria
- Optimises extraction systems in grow rooms
- Can be combined with carbon filters
- EU product with replaceable ozone plates
- Compact design for ventilation systems
Specifications
- Diameter: 200 mm
- Number of ozone plates: 2
- Max. airflow: 1200 m³/h
- Power consumption: 22 W
- Installation: extraction system
- Manufactured in: EU
