Eazy Plug is a unique substrate suitable for all types of seeds and cuttings. It makes it easy to propagate plants, flowers and herbs.
The organic materials that make up the substrate ensure an optimal air-water ratio, allowing roots to develop quickly and vigorously. The substrate keeps its compact shape, so plants can be transplanted easily.
pH and EC values
Under normal conditions, Eazy Plug maintains its preset, regulated pH (acidity) of 5.8, even when water or nutrients with different pH values are added. Eazy Plug is therefore less affected by user error or equipment malfunctions. The EC value of Eazy Plug (1.0) also remains consistently stable.
Air-water ratio
It is practically impossible to overwater Eazy Plug. This is because Eazy Plug is able to expel excess water and always maintains an optimal water-air ratio for the roots. It is therefore very important that the substrate is not in direct contact with water and that excess water can drain away.
Eazy Plug absorbs a lot of moisture, even more than loose soil. This reduces the chance of plants not receiving enough water. The constant moisture level means plants can be raised in less time and are less affected by mistakes.
Stronger plants
Because Eazy Plug regulates the water characteristics as well as the pH and EC values, control is much easier. Plants grown in Eazy Plug are of high quality and, if desired, transplanting can be postponed.
During the generative phase, the dry matter content of the plant can be increased by giving less water. This makes the plant stronger and sturdier, resulting in greater flower formation.
Base fertilisation
Eazy Plug contains base fertilisation for the first 2-3 weeks, which is vital for plant development. After that you can feed the plants yourself. However, it is also possible to add nutrients and fertilisers right from the start.
Feeding, i.e. applying fertiliser, does not differ from the method used, for example, when growing in rockwool or soil. Plant development, however, differs greatly. Among other things, the risk of feeding errors is much lower than when growing in rockwool or soil, because the pH and EC values are regulated automatically.
Compatibility with rockwool
The composition and structure of Eazy Plug allow it to be placed on or in rockwool without any problems. Roots grow easily from the Eazy Plug into the rockwool, and the moisture level is maintained.
Solid structure
Eazy Plug always retains its solid structure. The risk of damaging roots during sorting, transplanting or replanting is therefore minimal. Because plants root quickly, the occurrence of disease is drastically reduced.
Dry consistency
Eazy Plug is supplied dry and is therefore clean and well aerated. It is stored only briefly and there is no risk of mould. Dry Eazy Plug absorbs water easily and quickly, immediately regaining its original characteristics.
Compostable
Eazy Plug consists mainly of organic materials and is fully compostable. After use it is therefore easy to dispose of and can even be used to improve the soil.
