After a set time the tables are drained and the remaining water flows back into a central tank. Here, clean water and fertiliser can be added as needed to bring the mix back to the desired composition before the next irrigation.

The unique design of the drainage channels minimises the "edge effect", which leads to drier plants due to the higher rate of evaporation near the table edges. This effect is offset by ensuring a 2 mm higher water level. The result is uniform plants.

Benefits

No waste of water or fertiliser

Bottom-watering principle

Automatic, precise mixing of water and fertiliser possible

Very precise control of irrigation times possible

No joints

No additional gluing work

No leaks

Very smooth surfaces and drainage channels

Quick and easy assembly

Raw materials and raw sheets

The raw sheets are produced on an extrusion line, 3-layer co-extruded from 100% UV-stabilised, chemical-resistant HIPS (high-impact polystyrene) of the very highest quality.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0975/5679/1560/files/tavolo-di-coltivazione-flusso-e-riflusso-200x150x5cm-3-lati-pezzo-di-testa-6916471.jpg?v=1791530348
